How to flatten a PDF
Flattening merges form fields into the page. Recipients see the values but cannot change them.
The file must contain a PDF form. A PDF with no fields cannot be flattened this way.
Processing is temporary: the original is deleted at the end of the job.
What this tool does
- Fixed fields — Values stay visible but are no longer editable.
- After filling — Flatten once the form is complete.
- Temporary files — The original is not stored.
